:: 2001 - Kibblestone

Having first visited in 1998 and liked what we saw, we decided to return to Kibblestone in 2001. Kibblestone is a site with much character… and a wooden hut and a big hill. A big hill which many Scouts have slid down, during the course of Cuey’s now infamous ‘Search and Rescue’, where the scouts had to use their skills to construct a stretcher sturdy enough to carry a team member from a mystery location, up a big hill and back to the marquee.

Other activities included abseiling on a proper rockface (for once), raft building / racing on an old mill pond and the usual selection of archery, cricket and made-up-widegames
